Cherokee Art Market is one of the largest Native art markets in the United States, bringing together artists representing Tribal Nations from across the country. Hosted annually by Cherokee Nation, the market celebrates museum-quality art created by Indigenous artists working across both traditional and contemporary forms. Through artist awards, collector engagement, and public programming, Cherokee Art Market provides a vital platform for Native artists while connecting audiences with the depth, excellence, and diversity of Indigenous art.
Bohío is a creative hospitality project exploring the intersection of food, art, and gathering. Created with collaborator Alexis Gonzalez, Bohío centers on intimate dinners and shared experiences where conversation, performance, and unexpected artistic moments unfold naturally among guests. Rooted in the belief that hospitality itself can be an art form, Bohío invites people into thoughtfully designed spaces that encourage connection, storytelling, and belonging.
Lynn Riggs: The Letters I Left Behind (working title)
Lynn Riggs was many things: a citizen of Cherokee Nation, a gay man, a playwright, musician, and poet. Troubled by his past and seeking belonging, he is now an ancestor whose work invites deeper reflection and understanding. In this project, I explore Riggs’ writings through my own lens, decoding his legacy for a modern audience. The project features a staged reading of his words paired with music, movement, and reflections from descendants who share his experiences of place, sexuality, and heritage.
Hued Songs is a multidisciplinary performance series that celebrates and explores Black culture through music, storytelling, and artistic collaboration. The organization amplifies Black narratives by centering Black musicians, artists, and cultural voices in thoughtfully curated performances and public programs. Through its work across South Florida, Hued Songs continues to expand access to the arts while creating meaningful spaces for dialogue, creativity, and cultural connection.
Diaspora Vibes Cultural Arts Incubator (DVCAI)
Diaspora Vibe Cultural Arts Incubator supports artists of Caribbean and diverse cultural backgrounds by providing visibility, professional opportunities, and a platform for creative exchange. The organization nurtures artists whose work often exists outside traditional institutional systems and helps build the infrastructure needed to sustain their practice. Through artist residencies, international exchanges, exhibitions, and community arts programs, DVCAI promotes the dynamic voices of the Latin and Caribbean diaspora.
Four Mothers Collective is an Indigenous-led network of artists, organizers, and cultural workers based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The collective creates space for Native community members to gather, exchange ideas, and support one another through conversation, creativity, and care. Through community gatherings and collaborative projects, Four Mothers Collective nurtures Indigenous leadership and strengthens relationships rooted in culture, creativity, and collective responsibility.
Since 2022, Museum of the Cherokee People's annual The Way We event highlights Native pop culture and showcases timely perspectives for Cherokee people, primarily by Cherokee people. These community-centered events put Native self-representation in the spotlight and uplift creative work that explores identity through artistic expressions in film, music, visual art, and more.
